3:21 But now ¹  apart from the law the righteousness of God (which is attested by the law and the prophets) ²  has been disclosed –

[3:21]  ² tn Grk “being witnessed by the law and the prophets,” a remark which is virtually parenthetical to Paul’s argument.

[8:20]  ³ tn Grk “because of the one”; the referent (God) has been specified in the translation for clarity.
